I am proficient in Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, Canva, and GIMP, which I have used to design newspaper layouts, book covers and interior layout, product catalogs, bookmarks, and more.
Literary House Press Catalog
As a part of my internship with the Literary House Press run out of the Rose O’Neill Literary House at Washington College, I designed a product catalog for the press’s letterpress broadsides, chapbooks, anthologies, and literary magazine Cherry Tree.
100 Books of Solitude
As a part of my Flash Fiction course during the spring 2020 semester at Washington College, I was tasked with creating, designing, and editing a website for my classmates to post book reviews to. Each member had to write two reviews about a recently-published book in an effort to help publicize them.
Cherry Tree issue 6
As Production Intern, I was in charge of laying out the entirety of Cherry Tree’s sixth issue, approximately 170 pages of content. In addition to placing content on the page, this work included formatting poems and prose pieces to fit the page dimensions while retaining the original shape of the piece.
Cherry Tree promotional bookmarks
For my first project as Literary House Press intern, I designed bookmarks showcasing poems from Cherry Tree that were included in Best American Poetry anthologies to be given out at the 2020 Association of Writers and Writing Programs conference.
Honk! a zine for geese
For my Living Writers course during the spring 2019 semester at Washington College, I created and designed a limited-run zine that featured interviews by writers with ties to the WC community and samples of their work.
